Colección: WHITE FLOWER COLLECTION
A Book of White Flowers by Elizabeth Cameron is a limited-edition collection of 24 exquisite botanical paintings, published in 1980 by K.D. Duval in Pitlochry, Scotland. Only 250 numbered and signed copies were produced, making it a sought-after item among collectors and art enthusiasts. The illustrations, printed under the supervision of Martino Mardersteig at the Stamperia Valdonega in Verona, depict white flowers from Cameron's garden at Allangrange House in Ross-shire, Scotland. Cameron, who trained at the Slade School of Art and exhibited at the Royal Academy and Royal Scottish Academy, had a profound appreciation for the subtle shades and soft colours of white flowers. Her most renowned work is the painting of the Humanity Rose, created for the British Red Cross's 125th anniversary in 1995, which has helped raise approximately £10 million for the organization.
A Book of White Flowers stands as a testament to Cameron's artistic talent and her deep connection to nature, capturing the delicate beauty of white flowers through her detailed and evocative illustrations.
