Plate XLVIII –  Gluteus, musculature and vascular anatomy of the upper limb/ gluteal region  - a rare original colour lithograph print  1866 from the 19th century publication of “Illustrations of Dissections of the Human Body by George Viner Ellis and Ford”.

George Henry Ford (1808–1876), a master of 19th‑century medical artistry, produced this highly detailed piece showcasing precise anatomical accuracy, reflecting the era’s dedication to science and art.

Condition: Plate has some  foxing, toning,  sporadic light staining consistent with 170 years of use in surgical training.
