This fantastic American eye test chart advertised at the time (around 1907) as “the only chart published that can be used by people of any nationality”. Intended to be as inclusive as possible it features characters in Roman Alphabet for European readers and also Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Hebrew. It also features symbols for children or adults who were illiterate, radial dial tests for detecting astigmatism and finally colour panels for those working on railroads and steamboats.
