Une huile sur toile signée et saisissante de l'artiste britannique Orlando Greenwood , - Portrait de la Vierge . Greenwood devint membre à part entière de la Royal Society of British Artists en 1922 et exposa abondamment à la Royal Academy (1920-1933) , au Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours et à la Royal Society of Portrait Painters , ainsi que dans de prestigieuses galeries londoniennes, notamment Colnaghi, Beaux Arts, le Groupil Salon de Leicester et Grosvenor.

Sa carrière comprend également des affiches renommées pour le métro londonien et la compagnie ferroviaire Great Western Railway , ainsi que des commandes pour des institutions londoniennes telles que Liberty et Whiteleys. Une exposition commémorative de son œuvre a eu lieu au Bloomsbury Workshop en 1992, à l' occasion du centenaire de sa création.
