Cette illustration anatomique ancienne représente le système digestif humain, en particulier les intestins et leur réseau complexe de vaisseaux sanguins. Le dessin détaillé met en évidence la structure segmentée du gros intestin et les anses sinueuses de l'intestin grêle, avec une artère centrale proéminente se ramifiant en vaisseaux plus petits.
