A very rarePair of antique papier maché Bull and Cow children's toys
Early 20th Century Papier Mache sculpted models with glass eyes and real cow hide (covering the Cow)
Charming educational playthings from the turn of the early 20th Century, these are extremely rare to find as a pair. The Cow was originally constructed to demonstrate the milking process and was fitted with (at the time) working udders. Now a pair of charming display objects that exude an authentic "Folk Art" appeal.
Please note the condition and refer to the photographs Both are in a fragile condition with losses of original horns (facsimile replacements fitted) and the Bull with replacement rustic style front right leg to enable standing. The Bull has one eye absent. Flaking and losses to the Bull, tails absent.
