From the age of luxurious steam ship travel and the birth of commercial zeppelins we love the romance of this early 20th Century travel case in crocodile hide.
Retailed by leather goods company John Bagshaw & Sons of Liverpool this beautifully crafted example was no doubt aimed the wealthy travel market and the cross Atlantic passenger trade.
The colour tone is deep brown and with monogrammed letters JAM in silver under the handle. Complementing nickel plated lever locks and original silver water silk lined interior complete the effect. In addition to being a beautiful decorator piece this item is also functional and can be used for special travel occasions. Good, clean condition inside and out.
Manufactured circa 1910 this item is fully CITES compliant being pre 1947.
