A very attractive late 18th century / early 19th century continental polychrome Santos figure of a boy possibly representing the Christ Child. Presented with a contemporary stand the figure stands approx. 44cm high.
The paint is in good condition with visible signs of wear throughout commensurate with age. The right shoulder shows signs of old repair, the left shoulder with a visible crack but otherwise structurally sound.
