A finely detailed 19th‑century copperplate engraving by William Home Lizars, depicting multiple anatomical views of the human skull and jaw. Each numbered figure illustrates bone and dental structures from different angles — lateral, frontal, and basal — with delicate shading and precise linework typical of Lizars’ Edinburgh medical school series.


The sepia tone and balanced composition make it both scientifically instructive and visually elegant.

Printed on period paper with clear anatomical labelling and strong detail — a representative teaching plate from the golden age of medical illustration.  Shipped  in an archival sleeve and ready for conservation framing.
