This Original 19th century anatomical illustration is Plate 22 from Quain's Medical Atlas - arteries of the female external genital region (vulva and perineum).

Printed in London for Taylor & Walton, Booksellers and Publishers to the University of London, this antique lithograph was produced circa 1844 as a teaching aid for medical students. It forms part of a wider anatomical series used in formal medical education during the Victorian period.

The condition is very good, minor age related wear.  Good clean, bright colour images.An original piece of medical history, it offers both scientific and aesthetic value as a collectible antique print.
