Each volume is complete with a pop-up frontispiece to the pastedown; Lavishly illustrated with vignette photographs and diagrams; volume I also contains eight plates, volume II eight plates and volume III seven. Collated, complete.Undated; but accepted as published in 1913 .
In the publisher's original full cloth binding which is showing its age externally with a little wear to the spine and extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a touch of straining in places. Pages are generally bright and clean, with just occasional instance of spotting.
Packed full of interesting period images, the pull-out in particular are a joy !
