A very rare to market "Palace" size antique rug measuring an incredible 23 foot by 16 foot (7.1 mtr in length x 5 mtr wide ). A dramatic and impressive rug made in the Oushak region of Turkey to order for MAPLE & CO * around the early 20th century circa 1910 - 1925.
We are selling this piece "as is" complete with all it's faults which include, tears, small holes, wear & tear, rips, frayed edges, patch of fading etc To the very best of our knowledge there is no rot or active moth damage. Please examine the photographs carefully to satisfy yourself of what you are purchasing. In good condition todays market value of this piece would be circa £18- £20 K. Due to its sheer presence we consider this a great item for commercial photo shoots, prop hire companies, TV, Film and Theatre, Marquee hire companies etc and are open to offers.
