An antique diorama featuring a very unusual presentation of three birds in a woodland setting. The taxidermist has displayed the subjects (in the case of the Swallow and Partridge) fully side on by division along the vertical axis.
Inscription on the back indicates a German origin of late 19th Century and is inscribed to Frau. Clara Beck, 1895 with further handwritten notation.
